Corporate partnerships

Local businesses keep this place running in more ways than you’d think.

How businesses help us

We’re lucky to have the support of a lot of local firms, and it doesn’t always mean money. Some promote us on their premises or in their literature. Many run food collections for us, keep a collection tin on the counter, or donate goods we can use here or sell at events.

Others fundraise with their staff, or send a work party over for the day to help with gardening, painting or whatever project needs doing. All of it counts.

Ways to get involved

  • Sponsor a pen – £40 a month, with your logo on a sign at the pen and quarterly updates on the cats who’ve stayed in it.
  • Payroll giving – Set up a scheme so your staff can donate from their salary, and match it if you want to.
  • Food and goods collections – a box in reception, or a regular collection for the sanctuary.
  • Donated goods – Things we can use here, or sell at events to raise funds.
  • Staff fundraising – A dress down day, a cake, a sponsored challenge.
  • Work parties – A day on site helping with gardening, painting or repairs.
  • Skills – We’re small and we don’t have an IT or legal department. If your team has expertise going spare, we’d love to hear from you.

What you get out of it

An honest answer: not a great deal of marketing reach. We’re a small charity in Stretford, not a national brand.

What you do get is a genuine local connection, something real for your staff to get behind, and the knowledge that your support is going straight into food, warmth and veterinary care rather than into overheads. For a lot of businesses that’s the point.
