What fostering involves
Not every animal does well at the sanctuary. Some need intensive care for a health or behavioural problem, some come in during an emergency intake, and some are litters who’d otherwise spend months here before they’re ready to rehome. Those are the ones we look for foster homes for.
You’d have the animal in your home for as long as they need it, which might be a couple of weeks or a couple of months. We’ll tell you what to expect before you agree to anything, and you’re never obliged to say yes to a particular animal.

How it works
Fill in the form below and we’ll be in touch to talk it through in more detail. If it looks like a good fit, someone from our animal care team will arrange a home visit, partly to answer your questions and partly to see your setup.
After that you’d go on our approved list. When an animal needs a placement, our animal care staff match them against the facilities and experience of the fosterers available, and we’ll ring to ask whether you can take them at that time..
