Fundraise for us

Bake, run, swim or just put a tin on the counter. It all helps.

What people do

There’s no wrong way to do this. Our supporters have run the Great Manchester Run, done Tough Mudder, held cake sales at school, organised pub quizzes, sat through sponsored silences and taken hot air balloon rides to face a fear of heights.

Some raise a few hundred pounds, some raise a few thousand. One supporter dressed her horse as Rudolph and stood outside Pets at Home with a collection tin.

We’ll help you do it

Ideas to get you started

  • At school – non-uniform day, bring and buy sale, sponsored silence, walk to school week.

  • At work – dress down day, pub quiz, karaoke night, bottle tombola

  • Something bigger – Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, the 5k Colour Run, a skydive, a triathlon, or cycling Manchester to Blackpool

Before you start

There are rules around fundraising, particularly if you’re collecting in a public place or running a large event. If you’re not sure, ask us first – it’s easier than unpicking it afterwards

Tell us what you’re planning

Get in touch and we’ll help however we can, whether that’s resources, promotion or just talking it though.
